I did a newbie trade with him a while back. He went out and purchased a few of my favs and sent off his end in great time. Little did he know i was packed for bear and nailed him with a HUGE welcome bomb for fun!

Today I go out to the mail and there is a box with his addy on it! hmmmmm, i think! I already got his end long ago. Inside, is a note and 9 wonderful sticks. He begins by thanking me (not needed) and saying this is an overdue return fire for the newbie box (not needed). Knowing my love for maduro he has gone out and says "i tried to complete the TOP 10 MAduros listed in Cigar Magazine"

IMAGINE THAT! he has gone out and trying to get me the top 10 maduro cigars as a thanks but came up short by one! What a great brother !!!!This is far out and above the call of duty. 9 amazing smokes (RyJ,flora fina 8-5-8 AF, el ray del mundo, ashton,la gloria , Oliva O,Punch etc)... He even included a cool looking Out of Africa Don Lino i never heard of but looks tasty.

Its times like this i remember what a great community of people we associate with here on Cbid! Thanks MARK!

i tried the "Out of AFRICA" don lino today.

here is the cliff notes version:

Good construction, pre lite aroma tasty, lit fine but draw was not consistant throughout (should have dry boxed it a few days maybe). The taste was creamy and have a hint of spice to it. Similar in taste profiles to the Torano 59 Gold in my opinion. Great rich smoke (when i could keep it lit - again a bit moist maybe from the travel). Burned even, and taste was VERY good from start to finish. It was a 7 x 40 and the art on the band was cool.

I fully enjoyed this stick. Its one i probably would not have bought and was a great joy trying it. Thanks Sneech! I recommend it for a great change and venture down a new line for anyone that sees it locally (i have not yet seen these near me).
