Ouch, been there done that. dropped mine on a brick patio while of course intoxicated. couldn't just land on the back where the case "protects it" $200 later all better. that one looks mild compared to what mine did. still worked though.

almost 2 years ago I had my "original Iphone drop out of a clip case w/o realizing it. Went out into the nursery later looking for it only to find that a vehicle had run over it. Shattered the glass so bad that the phone no longer worked. This time phone still worked so I called apple store and cost to replace the glass $199. Cost for a new phone $199 since I was eligible for a phone upgrade. Just today I learned I can get the glass replaced at a non-apple shop for $50

Not going to happen Leo. I'm stuck, the other 2 night time bartenders are out of town. 1 in Vegas the other in Phoenix. BOOOO!!....yeah after I got mine replaced at the apple store. the GF told me a friend at her work could replace it. However it voids everthing not like that matters apparently apple care doesn't do Cr@p.

Was gonna chime in and say that the screen can be replaced fairly cheap, though someone already covered that.

Those otter boxes seem way to bulky to me, got a really good case from a company called switch easy if any of you guys are looking for something different.

You can buy a glass kit on Ebay for about $15 bucks.

Not a tough fix.
