Here's the next lot of tasty smokes and noobish notes.

1-RP SG, earthy yet sweet, easy draw, great build, thick smoke

2-Perdomo Grand Cru, good build/draw, strong flavor, nasty once ashed

3-Fidago box press, 1 dimensional, tasty cheapie if you can keep it lit, tight draw, poor construction

4-RP Edge, bad flavor, worse post-ash, good build & burn, only RP I haven't liked, will try again to verify

5-Gurkha Empire V, good draw & smoke, mild, not complex, ok overall

6-GC 1666, delicious from get-go, short ash, good w rum

7-GC Profesionale, don't recall, was very drunk, think it was good but 1666 better

8-La Caya Vintage, good draw & burn & smoke, mild but tasty, slight hints of nut

9-Nica Libre 1990, peppery, some harshness, kinda one flavored, ok overall

Cheers!2690048.jpg

Chazbo,

I took those pics with my cell phone, but even if under 100kb, they're still too big without resizing to look nice on the site:

http://www.cigarbid.com/auction/forum/forum.cfm?action=list&forumID=7&messageDisplay=0000000346884

So what I do is open the pic in MS paint and skew the size (Image -> stretch/skew; shortcut is Ctrl+W). Use the same variable for height and width so it stays even. Then either save or save as and it will be a smaller size and less kb.

You can do this with regular camera images too. Sometimes if resizing isn't a good option, try saving as a different file type (jpg, bit, gif, etc.) and that might take less memory.

Hope that helps!

^2- LOL!

^3- I liked it until it ashed, then the whole flavor went bitter/harsh.

Give the Rocky Edge another shot, very heavy smoke, good with a stout. Love those G 1666's too....cool pic.

^Redneck- thanks. Yeah, I like the 1666, but a good buddy of mine made that his smoke of choice, so he raids mine whenever I get 'em!

I think I've had six or seven RPs, and the Edge is the only one I haven't liked, so I will definitely give it another shot before I cross it off my list or anything, just in case.
