This is a view of Palm Desert from hwy 74. I can't remember the name of the movie that they filmed the kick the bucket scene on was on this spot. Where they were trying to find the W a 1960+ movie. A lot of old time actors. Any way for you golfers that's Big Horn on the left. The spring flower bloom here is unreal. The most rain in like 50+ years. I saw a guy coming down 74 standing in the back of a pickup with a camcorder filming the drive down. I guess the film would be worth the fine.

"It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World", 1963. Very funny movie.

We were there Thursday; Millie said, "Are those hills green or is it just my sunglasses?" The desert is really blooming right now.
