Well, during the fix of the PAM Pyramid a chunk of the wrapper broke off... so the fix, failed... BUT, it was a good practice session for the next time.

I will try to smoke it this weekend, but I think the duct tape idea my be the way to go! 😉

One thing I do is keep several sacrificial gars with different wrapper types. If I have a situation like yours were a favorite cigar needs to be repaired I can use the extra wrapper from the other cigars for patches. Using the pectin and the extra wrapper work just like duct tape!
