I love the stuff. If they made a white owl coated in it, I'd be all over it. I just had some peanut butter from a small company that mostly sells over the net. It was excellent and has about 90% less calories than the stuff you get in stores. They ship it as powder and you add water. Can't tell the difference from JIF. I'd love to make sure the company stays around. If interested, I'll email you the link. [email protected] Carry on.

huge PB fan...in japan, when you die, they cremate you 100% of the time...the family sits in a room for 2-3 hours as you burn, then all view your bones. the family takes 7 important bones and put them in the urn...which they bury in the family tomb.

ANYWAY, i tell my students that when i die, spread PB all over my body...2 hours of gooooooood smell! my students laugh at me.

I love peanut butter and I'll be damned if I'm switchin to powdered to save a few calories! Since I don't fall into the 98.2 of americans who are fatazz's I'm gonna stick with my Jif but thanks anyway.......:)

To me, the almond butter at costco is only "ok".

I think the almond butter sold at Trader Joes is a better quality. As is the peanut butter, which is nothing but ground peanuts or ground peanuts and salt depending on which version. No added sugar, oil, emulsifiers and preservatives like most of the commercial brands have in them.

Peanut butter = One of my fav "cheat" foods!

Love it with strawberry jam between 2 warmed corn tortillas (doesn't sound too good, until you try it - i.e., better than bread) and a small glass of milk on the side.

i have almond butter and walnut butter. the almond butter is not creamy, but the flavor is good...have yet to open the walnut.

jim--after grad school, i started teaching in GERMANY. loved it. went back to Dallas...it was just ok. i liked teaching, but i was not learning as much. opened the paper. saw a chance to teach English in japan. was still in my early 20's. before i got on the seniority track at a school, i thought i had 1 more chance for adventure...that was almost 11 years ago.

taught just English for over 7 years. now english and science (which is my thing). love it.

NICE!!! My wife is a teacher at a boarding school--English and Drama. She loves it except for some of the politics. Was her calling, just as it was yours. Great to hear you followed the voice inside.

Yea...aren't the pbj tortillas awesome??

I've tried four, but I prefer the corn tortillas when using them w/peanut butter.

I just pop 2 of the corn corn tortillas in the microwave for exctly 80 seconds and waaalaaa..they are ready to go!!!

In fact, I just finished another one!!

^ Should have been "flour" tortillas, not "four".
