hmmmm... the yellow would go well with his kenseth stuff. but would be tuff for me to swallow being a artic cat rider with a polaris backup, lol. was bad enough i had my buddies SKI DONT parked in my garage for awhile hahahahahaaa!

Wes, don't forget, Morgan started on a Cat . . . .

. . . In February 2000, my son (age 6) was diagnosed with Leukemia . . . while he was in the hospital, several of the snowmobile racers with circuit I raced (Rock Maple) send him get well cards & gifts . . . it was very special . . . .then the folks at WSA found out, and they started sending cards & gifts . . . . a girl who worked with WSA called & asked who his favorite snowmobile racer was . . . . he said Blair Morgan . . . a week later we get a package from Blair himself . . . in it, a letter, autographed 8 x 10, and a silver medal he had just won that weekend . . . . one of the nicest gestures I have ever seen . . . . after that, his room had more cat green decorating it then I had ever thought imaginable . . . . but it was worth it . . .

. . . now, my son is cancer free, and Blair rides a DOO . . . all is good with the world . . . .

seth so glad to hear your boy is doing great. definitely some kindness showed by the racers. blair is no doubt an excelent rider, no matter who he rides for.

how often do you race? i dont know much about the circut you ride.

Wes, I don't race anymore . . . . retired last year, and sold everything to buy a house . . . . it's been in my blood for 25 years, but some things are more important . . .

I raced about 5-6 times a year . . . . Rock Maple is an Eastern circuit based out of Vermont . . . if you've ever followed national pro's, Chris Vincent is probably the most famous to come out of Rock Maple . . . the ciruit is affiliated with WSA, much as a local stock car track may be affiliated with Nascar . . . up until this year, the WSA pro's would run a national race at Vernon Downs racetrack, by Syracuse . . . this is run in conjunction with a Rock Maple event, and it was an opportunity for lowly chumps like me to run a pro "TV" track, with all the big jumps & stuff . . . .

. . . my favorite though, was running on ski hills. . . they have one at Haystack Mountain in Vermont, where you run straight up one hill, turn 180 degrees, and go straight down the slope next to it, usually with a jump at the top . . . . man, talk about having your balls in your throat . . . .

by the way, do you ever read snogoer magazine? They did a story on my son in the December 2000 issue . . . maybe I'll scan it & post it here someday . . .
