While in Jackson, MS over the past two weeks, saw a couple of those take off from Jackson Airport! My God, they do not take anymore runway than a Leer Jet!
It was amazing to watch them get airborne! Beautiful bird!

That's a great pic Hog. I've been up close and personal with the C17 during it's cold weather testing in the arctic in 1992. It can really perform, I'll tell you that much.

Oh, Jetblasted.......you're going to be green when I say this......I just got confirmation, I'll be attending the Paris Airshow this year in June......I'm already flipping out!

Awesome shot..My buddy is a USAF C-17 pilot out of Charleston..I had the privilage, when I was out to visit, to fly the C-17 sim while I was on base..What an awesome time that was..No video game out there can even come close the sim ride. What a fun job..
