ok jason here is my review of #1
nice pre-light aroma. smooth wrapper, light tan colot.
maybe connecticut shade, or even cameroon?
firm in the hand with a nice heft to it.
cut straight and level with my trusty xicar.
prelight draw a little firm and with a slight grassy taste.

lit with little effort still a slightly firm draw fairly vegetal taste on first few puff's.
sweet taste to the smoke alnost like honey.
very mild at the 1 inch mark with fairly white ash with some grey flecks.
little uneven on the burnbut not enough to correct just yet. seems to be a very delicate wrapper as it split slightly with some massage to try and loosen the draw.
flavor is consistent with sweet little woody and little grassy notes.
still very mild past the half way point.
good construction as the burn has corrected itself.
thinking this would be a great first of day smoke and would pair well with morning coffee or tea.
my initial guess would be double chateau fuente

Cigar #1:
Toro in size 6" x 50, with a very light tan wrapper with hues of green. Well constructed, without any noticable soft spots, few minor cracks in the fragile looking wrapper. Prelight draw of grass and or hay, with a touch of sweetness in the background. The draw was a bit firm throughout the smoke, I was afraid to do anything with it, because of the fragile wrapper.
The overall smoke was one dimensional; somewhat sweet and grassy, and in my opinion lack luster. I seldom smoke cigars this light and have no clue as to what it is. I would rate this cigar a 3 out of 5, just not what I would consider a good cigar. Not horrible by any stretch, just misses my taste profile by leaps and bounds.

Cigar #1:
Toro in size 6" x 50, very light tan wrapper with an uneven foot and a slight musty smell.

East draw no noticeable pre-light flavor. First draw a little woody with a touch of cinnamon. Seems to be quite strong giving me the hiccups - ligero leaf? nice even gray ash

1/2 way mellowed some and quite smooth but no flavor at all. the only change was a little earthiness and some slight grassy/woody flavor.

Maybe a 1.5 out of 5. No desire to smoke another one.

This was the cigar I haven't yet smoked. The last 4 cigars I have smoked and I like them all. Can't wait to see the reviews. Thanks everyone for trying this out. Jason

interesting....I have often thought about pulling the trigger and buying these (I like ghurka products so much) maybe I will rethink this

I have been wanting to try them myself. I might just put them on the back burner for a long time.

I like the Gurkh aline but nothing eles by hansotia.

Smoked #2 this morning, pretty sure I know what it is, but then again I have been wrong before.... Will post review later.

#2 toro size nat wrapper very well constructed

prelight has a slightly sweet flavor that disappeared as soon as it was lit. Started out peppery and soon developed an earthy taste with the pepper. Pretty much stayed that way until the last inch or so then took on a woody flavor in addition to the earthiness and pepper. All in all not too bad.

3 out of 5.

#2 6"x50 toro in size with a natural wrapper. Very nicely constructed, prelight draw was near perfect with a touch of sweetness. I think this maybe a pretty good breakfast cigar.

The taste was nutty, sweet, creamy, with a bit of peppery spice in there as well. The burn was a bit hot troughout. Overall I would rate this a decent cigar, a bit mild for my taste, but one I would not have a problem smoking early in the morning prior to breakfast.

I would give this cigar a 3.9 out of 5, and if I were to guess I would say it is very similar to, if not a CAO Black.

ok guys here is the review of #2
toro size cigar with a tan wrapper. maybe criollo or even conneticut. rich tobacco smell from the cut end of the smoke. firm in the hand so soft spots on this cigar at all. cut clean and neat with my xicar.
prelight draw was just righ. had very little resistance at all with a light grassy taste with some sweetness and a clean tobacco taste on the tounge.
touched off quickly with the torch and away we go.
first impressions arethat this is a pretty straight forward smoke and the flavor is kind of one dimensional.
stayed pretty uneventful through the half way mark as it damn near put me to sleep.
just straight tobacco flavor and i did not detect much else. either my taste buds are off or this is the most boring smoke i have ever had. burn getting a little eratic and needed a touch up with the torch.
all in all a very uninspiring smoke to me with not much to look forward to but the end of the cigar.
i think i have had this smoke before but am not sure.
i am thinking maybe torano silver?

overall i would give it -2.5
interested to know what this is or if my taste buds are really off.

This was a cigar that I like to smoke in the morning or early afternoon. Goes great with coffee.

I did not notice a sweet taste in the smoke but it was creamy. I smoke the torps regularly and still did not pick up on it.

man, i smoked the cao black before and loved it.
dont know what happened here.
is there anyway that the cigar i got was something different? lol
this was one of the most disappointing smokes i have had in a long time.
