#12 I think you're right about Magwitch craving attention. I was raised by my Amish uncle, and he and his friends would have known how to deal with Magwitch's hijinx. A whore like Magwitch would have been shunned by the entire community. No one likes to be shunned, I can tell you that from personal experience. (No one's perfect and I was shunned for an entire summer when I got caught taking this Mennonite girl to see James Bond in Thunderball, even though it was mostly her idea. I should have never trusted her. If she had fessed up, then the shunning probably would have been all I got for my transgression. When she didn't, well, my uncle really let me have it. I learned a valuable lesson though. Those Mennonite girls can be wily.) But for attention whores, I expect that there's no worse punishment than a good shunning. We should do that. Anyone else up for it?
