Bet you could have felt the ground shaking where you were standing there. Maybe the heat, too? Pretty cool to get that close up. --- I got to see a F-16 take off in Baltimore back in the late 80's on the Ramp at BWI Airport. I saw it do a tail stand and Go Straight Up Until It Was Out Of Sight !!! What a Show He Put On !!!

Nothing like the SR-71's in Okinawa doing Max Climbs just after lift off and hitting the burner's, woud climb straight up until you could not see the burners anymore.... Unbeliveable....
