Buy lots and lots of samplers from CBid. They are a great deal and will help you home in on the types you like. I've bought samplers for less than $10 that would cost $80 in a cigar shop. Take advantage!!! IMHO the best deals CBid offers are the samplers.

Search for the "newbie info" threads; they will help with technical issues as well as prevent you from becoming cannon fodder for the fellas who police these boards.

Overbid if you feel like it. It doesn't bother me and I think it helps CBid stay in the black.

Once you get aclimated, you may want to consider trading (this IS the trading board). Read the newbie info threads on trading.

If you are married, go and tell your wife that you plan on spending several hundred dollars a month on rolls of dried up leaves.

If you like to voice your opinions and debate, grow thick skin.......you are among professionals.
