I just won a 5-pack for $13 which is outstanding. Holts sells them for $4.75 a pop. They are great cigars, very well made with LOTS of smoke. When I'm in a mood for a mild cigar, a Macanudo, Playboy or Fonseca tops my list.

A very tasty cigar it is. I have a several of these myself, and find them to be a very pleasant smoke. I also would recommend the 8-9-8, for it also taste good. The Fonseca Vintage is another great stogie, and is a little more complex than the standard fonseca line.

You picked a winner. I've never smoked a less than great Fonseca 5-50. If mild to medium is your thing, that's a primo choice. Hard to find in suburban NY though. 😞

In my handy stogie reference guide I show the "regular" Fonseca as being "very mild"..
I'm thinking bout picking up a box per your
good feedback but I dont enjoy "very" mild
cigars at all.. I like some character...

The 5-50 you ought to try is the maduro. I had one of these last night for the first time. It was an excellent smoke. The only problem I had with it was that is was rolled really tight. With a little massaging it loosened up a bit.The flavor reminded me of a Fuente 858 maduro, although it was a little pricier. The taste had a hint of choclate right to the very end. If the next one is a little looser, I buy a box! You'll like it.

You should try the maduro.
Only problem found is that you have to light the cigar very often.
