That's a Blue Sweatered Finger Pointer, usually found in cooler waters and very aloof. They are know for their unique "WTF" gaze and spikey top fin. While good fighters, they tire easilly and are net ready after a short but dynamic fight. Generally served with a side of Coos Coos in orange almond sauce and a fresh spinach salad, they go well with a pleasent chardonay spritzer.

Looks to be a snapper or grouper. An idea of where it was caught might help to narrow it down.

#8 No. None of the clownfish that look anything like Nemo get even close to this size.

Dammit. Now this is going to bug me. May have to dig out my saltwater fish encyclopedia when I get home. That's if I remember. No online sources are helping.

#3 Definitely not.

It's got a specific name, and I can't remember what it's called. We used to pull them up all the time while deep dropping for big grouper. I thought andy or miketv might ping in . . .

Figured it would likely be a saltwater fish, and one found in warmer waters, based on the coloring. Same sorta shape as a red snapper, but different coloring.

Red grouper works for me. Some form of grouper or sea bass.

A small needle to that air bladder will solve the problem without harming the fish.
