i wish i had something more interesting to tell. i picked it up from some importer on ebay. it is a repro of something. their is a lid on top that opens also.

I think it's time to make up a story for that thing.

"Here is a humidor that we found once when traveling through the southern states. We happen to be heading down a older country road when we saw a sign for a garage sale. Of course I am a sucker for garage sales, I think I need one of those "WARNING I BREAK FOR GARAGE SALES" bumper stickers. So we follow this long driveway to find ourselves at this rustic looking old farmhouse. As I'm looking through all the stuff there, I find this antique small cabinet humidor. I asked the guy about it and evidently it was carried overseas by his father who was in the war during his younger years. It has just sat on his shelf as a decoration. They have been clearing stuff out and figured it was time to let it go. He sold it to me for $10!! "
