We scrubbed once on the water; once with soap at home, and my brother went over it again yesterday.

Fish blood is harder to remove than super glue.

Nice boat like that and you don't have a wash-down hose on board? Might want to invest in one.

^holy ****........I never THOUGHT of that.

I SHOULD have scrubbed the boat down while there were hundreds of fish swarming behind just begging to be caught.

(sarcasm)

Seriously though......the boat does have a washdown; but washdowns pretty much suck ass and it is just another pump to go bad three times a year. I think it has been disconnected.

This kind of gore does not spray off anyway (as jetblasted can attest)........once it sits for even a moment in the sun it bakes on and requires a brush to remove.........whereas a bucket of sea water is infinitely appropriate, and practical since you can also use buckets as a toilet and a place to store stuff (go and TRY to use a washdown as a toilet).

This boat literally went from being spotless white to being smeared with blood and **** in a few minutes........for a good hour, we had at least three fish in the water and at least two flopping around the boat at any given time (spraying blood everywhere).

No time to screw around washing.......fishing a school is serious business and all parties must move fast.

It has two saltwater washdowns and one freshwater. A bucket and brush is much more effective when there is so much crap.

#17.......yep.

We got MOST of it off with a scrub-brush while we were still out.

Later........bleach, water, and a bit of detergent.

The next day, my brother gave it a once over.
