A newbie friend of mine claimed that he recently smoked a Punch cigar that was cognac dipped. Do these 'gars really exist?

You might dip the head in your glass as you smoke. This provides a nice coolness to the smoke. But I cant imagine someone flavoring a Punch.....Post the guys name here so we can gang-berate him....

Hey....the cognac can only help the flavor of a flavorless cigar! Everytime I've smoked a Punch.....well what can I say....it lacked any kind of a Punch!
