Wow but I used to love Menudo! Heck, we all did. For me though, it was something more. While the intoxicating Latin rhythms definitely got my feet moving, it was the visuals that were absolutely to die for. Seeing twisting, twirling and thrusting young hips, hips on the cusp of manhood, was invigorating to a man in his 40s. Now in my 60s I have just the DVDs to remember them by. I'm not sick or anything and I'd never do anything to a child but I can't be alone in my appreciation of the lithe and athletic movements of those boys. I honestly don't know what got me thinking about them tonight. Perhaps it is the positively delightful aroma of this delicious Perdomo I've been gently nibbling and sucking. Anyway, I was just curious as to whether I was alone in having these feelings.
