Thanks for the heads up, nice to know. This is the only board I post on, and it is amazing on how generous and nice people have been so far. I have had nothing but a great experience with the BOTL here. I get greatful sometimes when I think of being a part of this and how we all share this common bond that we are all passionate about. It has also opened my eye's to the fact that it is always better to give than receive.

I can't agree with all the names either. From what I hear it is easy to get on and next to impossible to be removed. I have traded with a couple of guys on there with no problems.

for the most part I think it is an accurate list. My point was that I have done business with a couple people listed and it went just fine.

I agree though, it is missing a few people as well. Certainly not a perfect list and should only be used as a last resort IMO.

If you do your reseach you won't get burned. Thats been my experiece anyway...

Ok here's my thoughts. The guys that sell fake stuff are scumbags for sure. They definitely need to be listed. And for the ones that guys on here question whether should be on or not, maybe you had a good experience trading with them but that doesn't mean that everyone else has. Point being, if you agree to trade with someone, get your stuff out to them in a timely manner, at the very least when you get their end THANK them, and if you have delays returning fire, email them and let them know why so they aren't expecting something and never hear back from the other person. Basic logic and courtesy.

I can't speak for all these people, but clearly something major had to have happened to be put on there in the first place. I don't think people would just throw a name on there for no good reason. Unfortunately, I have been burned by Gamelover who was going by the name pepsiman at the time and I know a lot of others good guys from here were taken advantage of by the same guy. The bottom line is like Chad said, do your homework and ask for references before you go off sending $100-150 in sticks and end up with nothing in return. The other thing is that the word is definately out on a lot of the other boards. Just go to c-bid and say your a newbie to get free sticks. Thats why a lot of these guys are here today and gone tomorrow. I hate that.

one thing to always remember is that stuff happens to people as well. I had a trade going with a guy who never sent his end. He always seemed stand up to me, then he doesn't return his end. I e-mailed him several times and never heard back. Then I get an e-mail from his wife saying that he was in a bad motorcycle wreck and had been in the hospital for a few weeks...he recovered and sent the cigars months later than the original date (even though I didn't remind him of it, getting my end didn't seem that important after what he went through) It would have been easy and logical after a few weeks to out him as a bad trader. If I had done that though, I would have felt like crap once the truth had been revealed.

Just because the government gives me 3 types of weapons(M4, M9, and 12 ga) to fight with plus a certified PPCT Instructor, and expandable baton instructor, blah blah blah...no one should be afraid.
