I just wanted everyone to know a little about myash07.
I've been posting here, for about 5 or 6 months and met many people at the Cfest05. I'm a friendly short fat guy with a wife that you simply must see to believe. To make a long story short....
If I jump on a PIB or PIF, I will expect cigars from the one that says they will send cigars. However, if I bomb your ash! I do so for fun and the chance to allow someone else to enjoy a smoke. I do not expect to be bombed back, but I enjoy it when I am!
I have bombed botl in the past that do not enjoy unexpected "bombs". So I want to make it clear to all, I do not expect return fire!
Also for anyone that does not know already, I have been known to smoke some rockets no one else will smoke... EG: Dark Shark (not to be confused with the AF brand)
So from here on out, don't get upset if I bomb you and don't feel guilty if you don't return fire, I will not hold it against you!

That said.... Lets have fun and enjoy some smokes!

OK, A word from k9 on the subject. Jimmy was the first to send me a newbie package. Not only one but two. I returned fire only to have my ash kicked again by Jimmy. We have done numerous trades in the past months and have become pretty good friends. When it was time for the fest, I married my new bride and went to PA. The next day Jimmy calls me and we meet for the first time. He and his lovely wife take Susan and myself out for a steak dinner and pick up the bill. The next day he calls and wants to take us to some caverns where he and Donna went on their honeymoon. After the fest several people meet in the lounge at the hotel and Jimmy and Donna presented us with a nice wedding card with a substantal gift. Now understand, we had just met the day before and for him to show that kind of generosity is amazing. Jimmy and Donna are some of the best people I've ever met in my life. Jimmy, You're the best.

Im sorry you feel that way Jimmy. Im the type of perswon who hates to owe or feel like i owe cigars. So if i get bombed you can bet your...uh...ash that i'll return the favor. Maybe not right away but you will get yours back.

Example is a BOTL that i havent seen post to often(i think he's a lurker) but just DESTROYED me and a couple others on here that i know of. JJDM i think was his handle. Im still trying to figure out how to get him back. He said he was just sharing the leaf,but he shared so much of it ( over 30 premium and super premium stix) that i am having a tough time figuring out how to do that.

It's just in my nature.

I second MyAsh’s sentiments. In my opinion, bombs are a one-way trip. Like picking up the dinner tab, buying a coffee, or round of drinks for some friends. Not expecting or wanting anything in return. If I hit you it’s because I want to for no reason. You “owe” me nothing and I expect nothing. I just happened to have your addy and a hair across myash.

I’ve had myash kicked by the BOTL here many a times so it's not like I'm "out" anything (God forbid you have a baby and post it here). There is no way I can repay in kind or even remember all the folks who hit me for that occasion. My retaliation was to hit a couple of newbies and send something off to the troops via OpFTH.

So for the future, if you get something from me relax and smoke it. It’s my gift to you.

That being said, I just might have your addy and haven't done a good ol' bombing run lately. I got the Priority Boxes waiting. Next rainy day when I have ants in my pants... INCOMING!

. . . . I try to avoid return fire by informing people that they won a contest, whenever I send them anything . . . . and as per the Seth Gekko official contest rules, winners are prohibited from return bombing . . . . doesn't always work, but I try . . .

I have a few thigns to say about what my hubsand wrote. First of off he loves bombing all of you. And like he said he doesn't want any thing in return for it. He just likes to make people happy. He has me for 5 years and I hope we have another 100 together. He is a great man. When we meet everybody at the fest it was great because he told me some of the things he had done to some of you all. So if he does bomb you he is having fun. And does not want anything in return. Thanks to you all for the things you have wrote about him. He is one in a million and I love him more than the world.

Well, at least your honest Ash, I'll give you that which is more than I can say for some others. Everybody knows that I am one of the few veterns left that hasn't jumped ship from here yet and I don't think I've ever been in a trade where I haven't sent more on my end than what I recieved. When Ash first came on board, I put up a thread for the first 2 newbies to reply, I would send a welcome pkg. each. Ash replied and I sent him some Acid cigars he wanted to try along with an ISOM and a VSG. At that time I told him there was no need to send me anything back just enjoy the smokes and he thanked me. Two weeks ago after seeing his pic of the MC #2's he just recieved, I e-mailed him to ask if it wasn't to much trouble, I wanted to try just 2 from the 03 box he had and would send him 2 from my 04 box. He agreed and I sent him the 2 MC's along with a BBF Cab. as well as a Part. Shorty as well. He waited to recieve my package first which he did and then sent his end of just the 2 MC #2's. Now Ash did absolutely nothing wrong since the original deal was 2 03's for 2 04's and he thanked me for the extra smokes. The whole point of this is that personally if I had recieved a welcome gift for free in the past of 5-6 cigars and recieved 2 more cubans free from that same person, I would have at least returned the favor and sent a couple extra back as well with the recent trade, but hey thats just me and I don't expect others to do the same thing I do. Personally, It doesn't bother me that much because I am fortunate to have all these great cigars and I enjoy sharing with others not to mention at this point if someone sent me a bunch of regular cigars I wouldn't smoke them anyway, but I think Smashed is in a different position than I am. Obviously, he did the same and went the extra mile and all he was looking for was a little of the same back. To him its more of a big deal than it is to me since he's just out of college and not as financially blessed as a lot of us. Sending out $50 + in candles to Ashes wife and gifts for the new pup I think was a pretty damn nice gesture and I would have appreciated that very much. I really don't think expecting something in return such as just to be wished a Happy B-day is that out of line at all and I think everyone needs to relax and think about this kids feelings before ripping him up any furthur because of it.
