No, Europe is in much worse economic straights than the USA. I have family in Germany and it is the worse there since the end of WWII. Truthfully, I'm a little afraid of what may come out of this mess in Europe. Its not far off condition-wise from the years between WWI and II when they went into and came out of a global depression, we just haven't seen the little dictators come on the scene there, yet.
