So much high end bourbon is export only. This one is only for Japan. Made by Heaven Hill and sold under the Martin Mills brand, price is about $100 there and alot more to get into the states. One of the oldest bourbons you can find at 24 years old it will be interesting to see how it compares to the export only Evan Williams 23 (which is DAMN good!). I know of two other 24 year old bourbons and three 25 year olds that are available and somewhere there is a 28 year old bottled in 1999.

I bought the bottle for my collection. The contents are incidental....

This is what I use and it seems to work.

Now, in compliance with eBay's alcohol policy, it is important that each bidder needs to be aware of the following:
The value of the auctioned item is in the collectible container, not its contents.
The container has not been opened, but the contents are not intended for consumption.
The item is not available at any retail outlet, and the container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the container.
All bidders must be at least 21 years of age.

i have i think a like 60 year old, sealed bottle of jack daniels in my cupboard. i guess it was my great grandfathers when he died like 20 years ago. is that any good, or should i just keep it sealed? i dont really drink allot of whiskey, so i'm not sure.

Whiskey doesn't age once it is bottled. What you have is a dusty bottle of JD that may be of interest to collectors if it is still sealed and the tax stamp is still attached.

a few years ago ebay wouldn't let you sell empty cigar boxes from cuba.

now you can sell cigars, booze and who knows what else.

"this young woman is completely untouched by any male. she is 21, 5'3" and weighs 110 pounds. she measures 35, 26, 34, and wears a size 3. she has blue eyes and is a natural blonde.

she is not sold for consumption, but as a collectible item.

low reserve, bidding starts at $1.00.

see our other collectibles on our ebay store."

Selling of cigars on Ebay is hit and miss. I have tried to sell some older sealed boxes, and Ebay cancelled the auctions. Ohter people list sealed boxes, and ebay doesn't blink.

Even when you put the disclaimer about the packaging being what you are bidding on and not the tobacco, they cancel auctions.

It seems very fishy to me, almost descriminatory.

Yes, they certainly are hit or miss on cigar and booze auctions. Some the cancel, some they don't even with the disclaimer. I haven't figured it out.

I've purchased a few cigars off of that site, and never really noticed a problem with them closing down auctions, but then again, I don't look there very often for cigars. Although, that is about the only place that I have seen the PAM 40th Ann. Torps up for bid, and the whole humidor, as well... Not that I want to pay 50 bucks a stick, but its interesting to see what is on there sometimes.

if you compare ebay with cigars international you will find ci is sometimes cheaper. even if it is not, check the ebay shipping costs against ci and you will find ebay is not such a bargin.

besides, with ci you are getting what you pay for and are protected if something goes wrong by customer service.

also never buy anything from someone with less then a 99% positive without reading his negatives to see if it is the seller or just grouchy buyers.

I have noticed that for the most part, on that site, what they are selling are Fake Cohiba's or they are reselling weekly specials from CI or other sites on the web. I refuse to buy from there only because the disclaimer sort of cancels out any obligation the seller has to make sure that the cigars are in good condition, and because they are essentially scamming people with crappy cigars, or reselling good deals for profit. Someone I know bought a humidor there and it was worthless. Sure, he could leave a bad remark, but for the kind of money he spent, he could go through a reputable company and get his money back or a replacement for his POC humi. Instead, it sits at the bottom of a coolerdor holding sticks for him.
