Well I saw this thread and thought it might be a good opportunity to stop lurking and introduce myself as well! I'm A Board newbie from so-cal.. Been smoking cigars on occasion for a few years but just a few months ago bit the bullet, bought a humidor (which ive already overgrown, spilling over into tupperdor for the time being) and got into seriously collecting and smoking. Anyhow I look forward to sharing many stogies and stories with all of you.

I'm in Bakersfield. Bout 100 miles north of LA. Where exactly is 29 palms? About the storage situation.. i'm looking for another humi on ebay now as we speak. Cant seem to find the one that just screams buy me though.. and Ive wasted way too much time looking lately.

east of palm springs, about 45 min, in the middle of no where. check the merchandise section here for a humi. i picked a 200 ct for 45 bucks ab

about a month ago.

We're nearly neighbors. I live in Ventura. Forget about the humi & build yourself a coolidor, its less costly, does a great job, & will hold more than most humis.

Yeah Ventura isn't too far at all. Keep me posted on any events you know of in our area, if you would. I've already committed to the humidor,but when thats full I'll probably go the coolerdor route.

Northridge, CA here - sounds like we need to get a Ventura area herf set up this summer, fellas... I'd cruise the 50 or so miles up the PCH to hang for a night.
