I received this as a gidt from a friend. I have no idea if this is a real Ramone Allones or not. The label looks like it was printed on an inkjet but the white areas havs a raised embossed area.

Help appreciated

It does not look like a ISOM. They usually have Habana on them. The Ramon Allones are gold , brown and red with white letters but the shield is shaped the same.Probably a Honduran or Dominican that is using there name.

The Cuban RA that has this design of band is green and they have the word "Habana" where the number is. Not a Cuban, IMO.

that is not a cuban cigar by any stretch of the imagination.
i think if you look at some other cigar websites you will find a few that carry this brand and i think dapperdan is right on about it is probably honduran.
i think i saw these at the place that has the 1am madness sales.
if ya need more info give me a shout.

It could be an older Cuban rolled in the Partagas factory or a Dominican made for Ramon Allones, S.A. of New York, NY (not the same as the new blend Ramon Allones). The band looks to be authentic for both. In either case and if it is in good condition, it should be an excellent smoke.

This is an old Dominican Ramon Allones. The wrappers they used on these cigars are Cameroon. If it's been stored correctly it should be a really good smoke. They were an ok cigar back during the boom but never took off. Then General re-blended it and actually promoted it a few years back.
