Stanford has beautiful pools. A few different sizes and depths. This was a real nice shot of the pool early in the morning before the games. This pool had most of the events, but not all. This baby was huge! This pic is of about 1/3 of it

My wife and I were assigned here in the awards commity. I was in charge of bringing up the proper atheletes to recieve his/her medal or ribbon.

My wife Patty was the lucky one. She was chosen to perform the moment every winner looks fwd too, placing the medal around the atheletes necks. She must have had her picture taken by a few hundred folks as their son/daughter recieved the medal... Enjoy!
