Ghurka and a coffee, the breakfast of champions. It is the one cigar that I always keep in stock for beautiful mornings like today.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this cigar goes with the coffee. I like the Gurkha line, but never thought of them as a morning 'gar until Sunday AM.

I had a class regent in my humi for about six months because for whatever reason it scared me (I was a new smoker and still wasn't up to the challenge of a spicy full bodied destructor) I decided to light one up one night and it was extremely pleasant, but it just didn't do well with beer. Two days later, I lit one up in the morning and the rest is history. I rarely have one past 11:30 a.m. because I think they are perfectly suited for the morning and match up great (probably better than any other smoke) with a cup of joe.

how close was the starbucks to the river?

RICKMAVEN -- Not Starbucks, D&M Coffee, a local roasting company and it's about a mile or so away. Good stuff. But the starbucks is closer.
