Ok, all in fun.
I travel the world in my kitchen.
I go to all places on the earth.
In the US and abroad.
Try it some time.
Happy fathers day, I enjoyed mine!!!!

Out-friggin-standing.

I've always wanted to make my own sushi; but being landlocked its tougher for me to get good fresh fish (have to go into the city......yuck).

I also do not have all of that great stuff that you have for making sushi, so when I DO get fresh fish, I usually just eat it raw - sashimi style, or sear it tataki style.

Man.......I'm hungry now.

Dan,
As my personal hero Anthony Bourdain would say,

"I'm not afraid to look like a big, hairy, smelly, foreign devil in Tokyo, though I do my best not to, I really do."

Good on you for the culture and good on you for the travels.....even if they are in your own kitchen.

Now...what do you need me to send you? Fish sauce perhaps...just name it.
