I traded two Opus X for this bottle.

I am hopping it is good scotch and not some rot gut.

To my taste, it is among the best of blended Scotch

I like Opus, but I still think the other fella got the short end on this.

OH MY GAWD RDC ... Is that Hauge & Hauge Pinch ??? I seem to remember that we use to call it Hog & Hog Pinch Bottom, and it was one of my staples about 20+ years ago !!!

That stuff is 'killer', and there are those that would shoot me for this ...

... but I loved it mixed with Vernors Ginger Soda ...

I used to drink 15 year Pinch many moons ago. I remember liking it.
I now drink Lagavulin 16 single malt Islay scotch. X

Well I hope to open it this Saturday evening and give it a try. A neighbor is having a little herf at his house so we shall see.

I like to drink the stuff straight, no ice or anything. The last scotch I had was a 12 or 15 year old McCallan, it was pretty good.

I've got more Opus to trade fo scotch, but I think with the educated palet of this crowd I would not get much in return.

yeah, RDC, that's a really good blend. to me, it's just a notch below chivas. i also enjoy the macallan 12 year. in fact, that's my favorite single malt so far. by the way, our office just moved to plano. i'm working about half a mile or so east of jupiter on technology drive. maybe we can meet for a drink and a smoke one day next week.

I think you did well. I'll drink a Pinch anyday. I would compare it to a Johnny Walker Black.
