Sterling Robert was born day before yesterday! Liz delivered a 7lb 3oz baby boy with a full head of black hair (hers) and blue eyes (mine). All the folks on here are so much like family, I had to share with you all! You have all been supportive and caring all the time Liz was carrying him, and I want you all to know that I think you are all great!

Hey great news Clive. The anxiety was starting to set in here. Glad everyone is well and give them a big hug from your friends here at the forums. I'll toast one in Sterlings name. Post pics as soon as you can.

Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mike

Awesome. We were wondering how things went. Hopefully every thing went smoothly.

I'm sure you can't wait to get back home so you can hold him. Not too long.

Congratulations to all of you.

Congrats you two (actually 3 now)!! I hope that everything went fine during the delivery. Now come the night feedings, etc. until you can get Jr. to sleep through the night. LOL

BTW... No cigars for Jr. until he's older!!! LOLOL

LOL Was just about to post something and decided to scan the topics first luckily I did! Both Sterling and I are doing great. He's asleep right now after being fed, burped and changed 🙂 I'm still a little sore, but that is to be expected. But we are both home and glad to be! I will work on the web page tomorrow and then send out the link so you can all see pics 🙂 He's very active even when sleeping! 🙂 We ended up having to put little booties on his hands so he wouldn't claw his eyes out!

The c-section was a breeze - the nurse that was there with me did an awesome job keeping me focused on her during the numbing needle and then the spinal block then it was a breeze from there - though I did get sore for awhile in the chest because they had to really bear down on it to get him out. the doctor put him over the sheet to show me before they took him to wash him off and stuff and the first cry is the best thing in the world 🙂 - they brought him over to me for a few minutes before taking him to the nursery and then they stitched me up and I was in recovery for about an hour or so and then into the regular room - then once I was not numb anymore they brought him in to me which was awesome 🙂

Well he's getting a bit fussy so I'm going to go take care of him. I just want to echo what Clive said I thank everyone for all your support 🙂 hugsss
