I saw a few of these here a while ago and have another to add. It seems to be a little different than the others I saw here.

I know nothing about plants or flowers (I only take pictures of them!), but these always amaze me with the details.

I was having a real slow morning today and actually took a few minutes to watch this one open up. It's not too often you see a flower opening!

That's living my friend, that is living.

BTW, is a passion flower from the same plant that produces passion fruit?

Good question, hopefully someone that knows anything about this will know!

There are many different passion flower vines , could be 50 or more varieties.
Yes passion fruit does come from some of these varieties. And there are some that are fruitless.
The one pictures is called Caerulea. it has very bright orange fruit with red pulp when ripe. It is edible but there are many seeds within the fruit.
I have now maybe 15 different varieties growing here at the moment.
