You gotta love when this happens. My wife and I are getting ready for a weekend getaway to Block Island with a friend and his wife when she suddenly decides to surprise me with a gift. Knowing that one of my favorite domestics is the Litto Gomez Chisel and realizing that I smoked my last one weeks back, she hunted around all week calling retailer after retailer until she found someone who carried them. This morning she walks in with six Puros, which of course are my favorite, in a humi bag and tells me she bought them for my buddy and I to enjoy over the holiday weekend. What a woman. Now I'm just wondering what the catch is! LOL Have a great Fourth everyone.

Forget my wife, How about the cigars! LOL. Just kidding. It was actually just a nice surprise to me since most of the time she gives me a lot of grief about the hobby. The Littos are still relatively new to the cigar world and a retailer I know who's been in the business over 25 years told me that although they are a good smoke now, in a couple of years they will become one of those rare Hall of Fame type cigars that are few and far between. After smoking one today, I can tell you that they are definately on thier way already a better smoke than they were 3-4 months ago. Snatch up as many as you can guys. He told me that when he contacted the rep. to order some in, he was told that there was not only a 3 month waiting list for them, but that they are also increasing the cost on the new stock coming out.

Had one and loved it. Picked up 4 at one of the locals yesterday. The owner raved about them, showed me the rating in CA and told me to make sure I had something in my stomach!! (I think he likes them too!!!) He also said the same thing about them being very hard to get.
