does anybody on the west coast (LA,Hollywood area)ever have a chance to hear this band . . the lady pictured is the front person for FreaknMissy - - she used to be the front person for a bank back here in the Indiana area and was one of my faves . . wonder what this new band is like . .they dont have a cd available

The band is based in and performs mostly near LA ... nearest CBidder that I know of would be Rickamaven, but FreaknMissy's not exactly a big band or a barbershop quartet, so I'd not bet that he's seen 'em ...

she was the leader of a group called "Red Beans and Rice" (not an uncommon band name) - they home based out of Indianapolis - - and were kind of a bluesy, jazzy, rock feel band - - very good IMHO - - Yun Hui (just barely 5 feet tall) has an amazing voice - - saw them many times but with her move to California - they are no longer in existence - -just have to listen to their cd now - -

Is she just the front for this band. When she was with Red Beans and Rice here in Indy she was also the keyboard player and did an amazing job of both. You're right, they were a good bluesy jazzy band. Saw them many times here in Indy. Did not know she was out doing the west coast scene now.

she appears to be playing keyboards and some guitar / bass work as well with this new band in some of their performance pictures on their website - - but no sound clips - -which is why I was hoping to get lucky and find a west coast c-bidder who might have heard them . . . had more than one occasion to talk with Yun Hui - - an interesting lady
