I found 'em here at about $25 bucks...but they are not the maduros...

Still haven't tried one and I spent the money on a box of Cuban cigars anyway.

I did get lucky with a recent purchase of a box of the Delicias Maduro. It's one of those boxes that could pass for the Annie line. Of course I wish had bought 2. That's one of the attractions of Padron for me. Sometimes one of their best cigars can be disguised as a $3 smoke.

I've smoked one in natural and don't tink I'll be smoking any more. I found it to be harsh and somewhat on the grassy side. The second half was much better than the start, but I'll still take the regular ol' PAN over the 1926 every time.

I remember another post on this and I agree that although the 1926 is good; it's way overpriced. For the $16 I spent on the one I smoked, I would've rather had two OpusX #5s. As I said before, let your PAMs rest for about 6-8 months and you'll be hard pressed to find a difference in them and the 1926.

The 1926 Series is incredible, in my opinion. Fuller and richer than the 1964, which is saying something. Sure, can't smoke them regularly at the price, but they are an incredible treat if you've been a good boy or girl.

I agree with John. I've smoked many PAM's and there is no comparison. The 1926 in Maddy is incredible. X

True, there is no comparison if you smoke each out of the box; however, letting a PAM sit for 8 months brings it pretty close, that's all I'm saying. I'm sure the blends are different so the PAM will never quite get there, but for my money I'm OK with that. With that in mind, I would still trade you all my 1926 at a ratio of 1 for 2 of your OpusX #5... 😉

There are some decisions one should never have to make. This is one of them. Sort of the 'Sophie's Choice' of cigar trading.

I ordered a couple of these two days ago. They haven't arrived yet but I'm looking forward to smoking them. I'm taking my son out this weekend to celebrate his 24th birthday and thought it would be a good opportunity for both of us to try them.

Maduro #2s $600/box at that swapmeet site.

I had a nice little package sitting on my doorstep when I got home. It included 3 of the 1926 maduros #6 size. Only cost me $10 a piece. Now I just have to keep my hands off them until Sunday

We went out to a steakhouse last night and following a so-so meal my son and I both lit up the 1926's. I was fairly impressed but agree that the PAM is an equally good smoke. I probably couldn't tell the difference between the two in a blind taste test. Then again, I probably couldn't tell them from an Ashton VSG either.

LLT - as for my source - let's just say it's taken me about 4 years to nurture a great relationship with my tobacconist and when I call on her and ask for something special, she usually comes through for me. I think there are a lot of these type of retailers that form a relationship with regular customers and hold onto hard to find products for them. I'll be keeping this source to myself.
