I haven't watched wrestling regularily since he was still wrestling. I have on tape WrestleMania 2 which was the WWF debut for The Hart Foundation.

Shame about the stroke and all, but glad he recovered and is living a normal life.

The old days of the WWF were the best entertainment on televison! With names like Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Rod Piper, Bret Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, Paul "Mr Wonderful" Orndorff, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Randy "Macho Man" Savage to name a few......it has morphed into some disgusting stuff! The ony good thing about it today is The Rock and he is pretty much out of the mess!

I totally agree Charlie. There's a few today that I enjoy watching, but mostly it's a big tna cluster 😞 I maybe of the minority but it still entertains me - though there is a lot of athleticism involved regardless what many may think, but yeah the golden days of the 80's are for the most part dead and gone. The Rock comes back now and again, but he's lost to hollyweird for the most part. Vinnie Mac has been bringing back Hogan as of late because the numbers are starting to go south and he needs to pull them back up, so now there's this big "feud" between Hogan and Shawn Michaels with Michaels being the heel. I could give a snitzel about this - can't stand either one of them yucko LOL Give me the good ole days of the Rock N Roll Express, the Midnight Express with Jim Cornette - WCW style - the ORIGINAL Four Horsemen - Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson and Tully Blanchard. Dusty Rhodes, Magnum T.A. Barry Windham, Mike Rotundo *sighs* how about Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Jimmy "Super Fly" Snuka, Don Morroco for the WWE *SIGHS*

I have a whole six hours of videotape of Bret - his Hart Foundation days and his solo days - yes it was horrible about his stroke but last I knew he was doing well and that's great 🙂 He'll always be my favorite along with the Undertaker - now there's another when he was in his hayday that was great, not saying he isn't now, but he hardly wrestles anymore 😞

Did you see the special on Bret Hart, it was out about 4 years ago, believe it was "Lines and Shawdows" about his last months in the WWF. Do a google and you will probably find it, I believe it ran on A & E!

Loved to watch Ric Flair, "If you gonna be the man, you gotta beat the Man"! "Whooooooooooooooooououuuo"

Yes I did Charlie that is why I can't stand Vinnie Mac and Shawn Michaels to this day. Wouldn't pee on either of them if they were on fire LOL

To paraphrase the BeatDragon, I have have three words for you:
CoCo Brazil (inventor of the coco butt) and Bruno Sanmartino (perfected the flying kick to the nuts).

Both were true warriors in a trying sport.
Yeah, I tried to watch it.

Do the names Fritz Von Erich, along with his sons. Harley Race form the NWA, Abdullah the Butcher, Ox Baker, The Road Warriors, The Freebirds, King Kong Brody, Ted Debiase, Superstar Billy Graham, Cowboy Bob Orton. Just to name a few. We had a weekly wrestling show here in St.Louis Wrestling at the Chase. Got to see all the greats including Lou Thesz and Gene Kiniski, Wahoo McDaniel. If my Grandmother (rest her soul) wasn't watching wrestling or the news her tv wasn't on. Those were the days.
