What do you do with your cigar bands? I have several projects that I am working on, including covering a table top with them. One of the projects was unveiled at the Midwest Herf 2, and should appear shortly in some unsuspecting mailboxes.

BTW.... If you toss em, send em to me. I can always use more.

I save mine to, one day, make some type of collage out of them all. Whenever that day is, I don't know LOL.

Keep mine in Makers Mark bottles (1.75 ltr) and Jack Daniels Single Barrel, and special release Jack Daniels (1.75) bottles! Might do something like Stefan mentioned one of these days....until then just keep putting em in the bottles, wifey complaining about them!

I've been saving them for years and am not even sure why ... initially, I was going to do some sort of framed collage, but have so many now I could skip the frame and just wallpaper the whole damn wall ...

That would be a painful project wallpapering a wall with bands!

The roof over my basement bar (jungle theme with shingles, plants, large wooden parrot - u get the idea) was made outta some cheap press-wood. I've been covering it with beer labels and cigar bands. People love it. Nearly done, just a few more and coat of laquer...

I took the ones that I like the most and put them on my Otterbox to make it stand out. I couldn't think of anything else to do with them.....

Start high and low and work toward the middle so those are the ones that are on top.

I submitted a picture of the latest project involving cigarbands. The picture should post tomorrow, barring complications. Let me know what you think.

cadbeans,

MACS(SW) has a huge Partagas band from a Culebra on his otterbox. Birds of a feather and great minds...

*groan* Don't quit yer day job BD!

Yep, I got that big old Culebra band on the otterbox and I plan on using the ones I have in the cigar box in the garage on a couple of picture frames. I'm gonna do one in all Cuban bands and one in N/C bands. Should look pretty cool...
