Cigars don't kill people, people who smoke cigars kill people.

I don't understand the problem with the warnings. Do you disagree with what they say?

'Smoking seriously harms you and others around you.'

There have been studies, major studies, done by the World Health Organization proving that Envirnmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS) poses nowhere near as much a threat as it was originally thought to. I remember reading this study about 3 years ago, it was the largest study ever done on the topic. But, this information fails to coincide with their mission, so it was decided not to publish or publicize these findings.

Well...if that is true...then I would agree that saying so in a government sanctioned warning is not right.

And as I say this, remember that I smoke cigars as much as I can afford to...

Second hand smoke makes me cough. Has ever since I was little and my parents smoked cigarettes. Second hand cigar smoke does as well. How does that not put me at risk? Granted...I take the risk...but inhaling smoke from tobacco doesn't seem to be risk free.

And again...not to stir up trouble. I guess I don't understand the outcry for "smoker's rights". And maybe that's a worn out topic for another thread.

A lot of times, I'll put on cologne and cough or sneeze, even though I am barely putting any on. This does not worry me.

The problem with "smokers' rights" is, the anti-smoke group is much more vocal than us.

Or how about mandating that victims with AIDS be labeled as killers... Matter of health same as smoking

Tattoo on their forehead "AIDS KILLS AND I HAVE IT"

or "Sex with me harms you and others around you that have sex with you."

I'm just wondering if these labels have any effect on sales?
