My windshield was replaced by the insurance company, at the company's garage. When I went to pick it up, I found this on my windshield. Yes, that is OD green 100 MPH tape holding the windshield. They ran short of the correct material, and decided this was good enough for now.

Its nice to see that some places still put a little extra effort into doing a nice job.

I think that's the usual procedure... when they replace the windshield they'll put a tape on for couple of days...

What ever you do, don't drive over 100 mph.....you will void the warranty and your windshield may slide off.

Hey I know from personal experience that this tape is good up to at least 125mph. Had to hold a broken wing time on a plane to get it home.....no worries!

My bomber is in fabulous condition. No tape needed.

Though there was that one time...with the black duct tape...little fire and some metling...eh it all worked out in the end.
