Ruggy has been telling me about the nice lady in Wisconsin who will make cookies for him, so I finally broke down and made a batch. Holy mackeral! You are either my new best friend or my new worst enemy, I haven't decided which! 😉 They are way too good to be that easy. I think they are my new Christmas cookie favorite!

People think I am nuts when I tell them that these are to die for. So simple, yet they look like you busted your butt to make them. Try the snickers cookies too.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh Snickers cookies!

Heather don't do it. Run away! Run Away!!!!!

In a sugar haze at Midwest Herf 2, I think I proposed marriage after having one............... ok I had 5.

Just say no. Crack isn't as addictive as those cookies.

Okay, back to find my Happy Place.

Slice & bake chocolate chip cookie dough and snickers minis (the real small ones) unwrap candy (ok test one or four to make sure they are fresh) slice cookie dough, wrap around candy.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. cool on a flat surface (racks allow the candy to fall out of the cookie)

Preparation is messy, but results are worth it.

When baking, leave room for them to spread abit.

Also, at Christmas for the smores cookies, use red and green candy melt. You could even toss shaped jimmies/candies on top while the topping is soft.

That good, eh? I think I need to make those cookies, just to see what the effect on poor Ruggy will be. If they are that good I am going to stay away from them!

Those cookies are not good, they are Sinister!

Rug, I started to black out on the third cookie. The rest of the day was a blur.

Man, those are good. And they HAVE to be bad for you. Nothing that good can, well, be good.

Mrs. Tank, I brought most of them to work this morning for the crew (6 guys)we had them during our coffee break. As we were going back inside one of the two guys I am working for said he would put the rest in his big cooler (it stays in his truck bed) so they wouldn't melt in the sun. Before lunch I asked his partner Pete where he was. He had gone home at 11 for a meeting at his bank. He ripped off the cookies! He must have gained 20 pounds on the way home! LOL

I take double batches to the bowling alleys some Friday nights and sometimes bunches disappear when I am not looking.

I don't mind, I make them because they are soooo good.

I hope they all enjoyed them. Look at it this way.... If he gains 20 lbs, that's 20 we don't gain.

Should I tell her about the pecan bars I just got the recipe for?

Line a jelly roll pan with graham crackers (24 squares)

1 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup pecans

preheat oven to 325

melt butter and brown sugar. As it comes up to a boil, add pecans. boil 2 minutes stiring the whole time. spread over graham crackers. Bake 7-10 minutes.

cut into rectangles while still warm.

Talk about sugar fixes......

8track, are you coming to steal my cookies or the Warden? If it's the cookies you want bring a big knife for fighting. If it's the warden you're after bring ruben rolls from Mader's in Milwaukee! If you show up in an old Ford Fairlane 500 you've got about a 40/60 chance at her...

Mrs Tank, Now that I have uncovered your evil plot to make me explode, I will tell you that you are foiled at last! Pecans and me, and pecans and the Warden, don't get along!

When I do my christmas cookie making You are both on my list. I won't tip my hand yet but I only make one kind and there is only flour, butter, sugar, vanilla, almond, and a bit of Hennesy in them...Another clue. The only store that sells them here wants about 15 $ a dozen....

Thanks, Rug! You make me sound like some kind of floozy.

Now, if it was a '65 Ford Fairlane 500 hardtop, then we'd have something to talk about. A girl has got to have standards - sheesh!

Mrs. Tank, you just keep those recipes coming. Have you ever seen Nutterbutter Santas?
