Asked this once before, but the post is long since gone...looks like I may finally be getting a gig in Dallas, the company is W of I-35 and N of I-635, so I guess that makes it the NW part of town.

What I'm hoping someone can tell me is what areas, cities, etc. the good schools are in. I guess I'm trying to figure out how far I'll have to drive to work!

A preemptive welcome to the DFW metroplex. I live in Flower Mound which is in the general area you are talking about(it's about 9 miles due north of DFW airport and a couple of miles west of I35E). It's a great town, with exemplary schools and very peaceful. Everybody calls it "crime free Flower Mound. Everything is relatively new and it has already done it's explosive growth. You could do a lot worse.
