Just talked to the Junior Leagues Coach that my kids work with. At the State bowling tournament in Appleton this year, the tankette placed 3rd in all events out of 1095 kids. She won a scholorship of a couple hundred dollars and a poster with all of the winners names.

She has not done much bowling on the "plastic" lanes but was consistantly good over the 2 day event.

Going in, her high series was a 401 in regular leagues. She rolled a 432,422 and a 439, not counting her handicap.

Tiny Tank did not place, but managed to have a fantastic time anyway, spending almost 8 hours in the pool at the hotel.

Next year, the tournament is in Green Bay - and we have already discussed a miniherf with 8-track while we are up there.

She hates when I brag about this stuff, but I do it anyway.

Wow. Good job.

Mrs.Tank -- Even if they say they don't like the praise it does wonders for the spirit.

She rolls her eyes whenever I bring it up....

Secretly, I think she likes it.

Once we know for sure when State is, maybe we can set up a Friday night herf... Or tank may be allowed to go out to play at some time over the weekend.

Wow! You must be very proud. I think you should bake her some of those Snicker's cookies I've heard about.

I took 12 dozen or more with to the tournament for the big pool party. She gets them on a regular basis, and since the recipe is easy, she jumps in and makes them for me occasionally.
