I love to cook sweets, I have a sweet tooth! I thought I would share this one with all of you
Peach or Blackberry Cobbler
4 large cans of peaches/if using fresh 6 cups
1 stick butter (the real thing)
2 T cinnamon
4 cups sugar
2 boxes pie crust. Or make you own
Place a layer of pie dough in the bottom of buttered pan. Add two cans of peaches. Sprinkle 1 ½ cups of sugar over top of peaches. Dab six dabs of butter on top of sugar. Put down second layer of pie dough, cutting slits to let juices flow. Repeat layers of peaches, sugar and butter. Put down third layer of pie dough cutting slits again. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 400 for 1 hour or until golden brown.
You can make blackberry cobbler by substituting 2 packages of frozen blackberries or 6 cups fresh for the peaches. Add 2 cups of water into berries and do not use cinnamon.
Put a scoop of ice cream on top or heavy cream, yummy!
