TWO TOUGH QUESTIONS

Question 1:

If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before looking at the answer for this one.

Question 2:

It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three leading candidates.

Candidate A -

Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He's had two Mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B -

He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C -

He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Which of these candidates would be your Choice?

Decide first, no peeking, then scroll down for the answer.

----------------------------------------------

Candidate A: is Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Candidate B: is Winston Churchill.

Candidate C: is Adolph Hitler.

And, by the way, the answer to the abortion question: If you said yes, you just killed Beethoven.

Pretty interesting isn't it? Makes a person think before judging someone.

Never be afraid to try something new.

Remember:

Amateurs built the Ark

Professionals built the Titanic

and in case you never saw this one!....

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse

* 7 have been arrested for fraud

* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks

* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

* 3 have done time for assault

* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting

* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

Can you guess which organization this is?

Give up yet?

It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group of idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

I'm interested about all those charges and accusations against our congress. Can someone please elaborate on the actual charges and give me the names of the accused? What is the basis for all of this? is it factual?

By the way, Beethoven was only one of 3 children that survived.......

even if it only a metaphor, i'll accept TrannyMk's numbers. i believe the contract with america guy, newt, may be a large percentage of the list.

i have tried in vain to find out where newt was elected from. my best guess is he probably represented no more then 100,000 constituents and with that little clout, he managed to grab powere beyond what he was entitled to.

i don't understand why he is interviewed on tv so often.

pardon my grammer, i think.

The congress list has been going around for a long time. 10+ years I think, so I don't think any of that is accurate.

But the first 1 and 3 are things they are accused of. Accusations are accusations and only that, it doesn't say who accused them or why.

The bankrupt thing? Well they tried to start a bunch of businesses, so what? I think it is something like only 1 out of 4 businesses make it more than a couple years. It's pretty easy (almost expected) to bankrupt your first business.

The arrests don't say when they are. Arrested for smoking pot in college? Hardly a big deal. Shoplifting when you are 13? Who cares.

What I am saying is that this list is so old who knows if it was true at the time, let alone now. And even if it was true they left it ver generalised to create the image they wanted.

My opinion - it's bunk.

when you see a small store opening in one of these strip malls, with items to be sold that you wouldn't buy, rest assured you will be footing the bill for the sba loan. the owner pays himself a fabulous salary and milks the business dry, goes belly up and walks away with most of the money.

it can be done on a grander scale as jeb bush has proven, having opened one business and draing it and strangley enough being able to aquire another sba loan, something you and i would have trouble getting, and repeating the process.

incidently i only eat your hot dogs. they are the best.
