Sorry for not responding sooner.... got back from sturgis last monday and still winding down from an excellent trip

It won't fit under the battery box lid since its sitting on top of the battery. I've been thinking about moving mine, but can't decide where to. Somewhere on the hitch would be best, even on the battery mount frames behind the LP tanks, but how to mount it is the question.

Mount it on wood (or a thick strip of hard rubber) ... still the best insulators. Use nylon or rubber sleeves for the bolt holes.
