Well I read that Pierce Brosnan is out as James Bond and that got me thinking..

What actor do you think made the best James Bond?

Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, or Pierce Brosnan? (and if you want we can even include David Niven)

For me, and mabe it's just because i'm 50 and remember going to the movies when the first Bonds came out, Sean Connery was the best.

After that Bronson, Moore, Lazenby, and Dalton

(and by the way if you don't hear anything from me any more it's becaues Hollywood called and wants me to be the next Bond)

Connery then Moore

My vote is for you ,D.

Why was George Lazenby ever selected to be 007?

For me its a toss up between Connery and Moore.

They were both good in that role.

I am curious as to why they gave Brosnan the boot.

There was no explanation, other than "you are not needed for any more Bond films.

Connery and Moore are tied only because they portrayed opposite ends of the spectrum. Connery played the tough guy best and Moore played the suave and debonaire role best.

My opinion and 2 cents from Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA...

Connery then a long stretch to Pierce Brosnan! Now for the future Bond, James Bond....I would go with Jude Law!

Charlie

For this FOG there is only one Bond..James Bond. Connery

roger moore is james bond to me(my era) sean connery second(sorry purist's). all others pale in comparisson. jude law? not in my opinion. hmmm...i say bring connery back for one more as an "aging" bond-he could make it work.

Sean Connery, then Moore.

For the next..........Derrel Hammond as Sean Connery.

Sean Connery, then Moore.

For the next..........Derrel Hammond as Sean Connery.

Of course the best is Connery, but a very close second has got to be Brosnan. I never really did care for Moore all that much.

Best would have to be Connery.

Future- Bobcat Goldwaith

future bond:

BEAN!!!

LOL or Jack Black!

Charlie

Future bond ........... Yea , Mr.Bean 😉

Shaken not stirred.............

TUC

Bean already played a Bond type character in (i think it was called)Johnny English.

connery, then pierce

TANK

Connery hands down. Best Bond movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Lazenby actually makes fun of himself in the begining, saying " I bet this never happened to the other fellow." when the girl drives away.

barryneedleman
