A bit of military history for your guys and gals. Do you recognize this plane and its squadron?

Charlie

The Tuskegee Airmen

The first African Americans to be trained as WWII Military pilots in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Correct you are. The 332nd Air Group with quite a military history!

Charlie

Is that not a P-51

k9

A P-51 Mustang! Hot airplane then and today!

Charlie

Never lost a bomber to enemy fighters.

That was an incredible record! I just finished reading Flyboys by James Bradley, a great book, but can get a little depressing!

I am looking to find some books on the Tuskegee Airmen to dig into their history!
