I just got a new computer and also upgraded to DSL (from dial up).

Everything is up and running (I'm here, ain't I?), but certain web sites appear smaller.

Including CigarBid.

The page works fine, but it doesn't extend from the left to the right of the screen. Only about 2/3 the way.

The screen is fine, as the address bar extends accross the entire top, and also other web sites DO fill the whole screen like I'm used to.

I assume there's some easy fix that I simply can't find. Any input would be helpful.

Thanks!

if all the other web sites fill the screen, change porno sites. you can't fix what they are sending.

It's not Internet Explorer, because many sites DO fill the screen. In fact, even on this site the tool bars from Internet Explorer run across the whole top. So the screen is being utilized, but the cigarbid portion only fills the left 2/3 of the screen.

TransvestiteMK,

I'm glad you're happy someone is having difficulty.

As for cable vs DSL, I have cable at work and I don't notice a differenc. Perhaps your gay porn proves to download faster on cable, but I'll never need to determine things like that.

I'm glad to see that you're as mature as every other Raider Fan.

What a sap you are. I sucked you in hook line and sinker. You spew the quote below, and I'm the immature one? Read mine, then yours, then deside...

I joke about it... but, you make it a personal attack... real class from a Pats fan... such a joke...

taigater, what size monitor do you have? I have a 19" monitor on home PC and this is the way certain 'web pages' including this site appear on the screen.

Even the monitor screen(15") here at work shows only about 1/2 of cigarbid's site.

Hope this helps, I don't think there is much you can do about it. Like I did, you will adjust to it and won't even notice after a period of time.

Good luck,

Ram

Ps For what it is worth, Tranny is a good person and he was only joking with you.

Let us all 'smoke the peace cigar' and enjoy the day and enjoy the weekend all. ! ! !

i just noticed after a recent change made by cbid i have the same thing. the screen is full but the cbid site is only about 2/3. it's been that way for a while and until you mentioned it i had no longer noticed the difference from the complete screen coverage it had.

i just changed the setting from 800 x 600 to 1024 x 768 and it gets worse..

gonz may know the answer. but whatever it is, you can only show what cbid's site sends you. i'm going to post a picture of what i get and see if it helps you,

what was all that discussion and bickering about download speed about.

i just posed a screen shot for you. as soon as it is approved it should show you what i see.

if it doesn't show, they are hiding some deep dark secret, the likes of which is beyond are need to know.

tailgater,

Right click on your wallpaper and select Settings, then select the Settings tab.

It should display your screen size in the screen area box.

Chances are your settings changed with the new computer and your screen size is bigger than it was before.

Find one of those really bad picture posts and the comments will stretch to fit your screen.

All web sites do not fill up a screen, as you have been informed above!

You might try reinstalling as directed earlier if you are not happy with your results, but I suspect since it is working properly, speed wise, etc you really do not have a problem, other than certain BOTL's who insist on being smart asses everytime they get a chance!
