Just a reminder: let's try to keep things civil on the Misc Board, please. I've noticed a lot of 'iffy' posts being made. Although it's tough to determine the underlying meaning behind each, others often take offense, resulting in some heated debates and unnecessary hostility among the locals. Let's keep the forum fun and interesting on all the boards. We're all adults, we should be able to handle things quite easily without having to stir the pot in every thread.

this is how I handle posts that tick me off - I'll read the offending thread, spout off to myself, even give my computer screen the universal sign language and sometimes even type up a post and then never hit send and go on to another post that won't rile me up. That way I've got it out of my system and haven't said something to anyone about anything LOL That way I keep myself outta trouble 🙂

But stopping a thread that might get out of control seems a bit excessive. Adroomi hasn't even used the N word yet...LOL

As far as the point of this thread I decided last weekend to cool it, without giving up the point to others. I have not called a name in a week, not even doo doo head. The funny thing is I am still being called names at the same (or higher rate) by adroomi, tey, wags etc. I also continue to be told that I am calling names and nothing else. LOL

No pleasing some people.
