I agree that Kanye West is proven in the music industry and barring something personally tragic, will probably be around as long as he wants to.

However, that was frustrated utterance (won't be around in a year) that you have helped dispel.

Now, you are called upon to address what you see as the central issue of the thread...and you are more intelligent than to leave it at what you have posted.

I was watching it live on tv and i kinda liked the part after Kanye West made his worthless statement they cut to ( i do believe it was )Chris Rock who was just standing there "dumbfounded" , wondering....."what do ya want me ta say".

but Kanye got his "wack" in on the prez that raised him to his fans and dismissed him to the rest that thought his opinion was worthless........i'm in the latter.

What strikes me most is not the content of what he said but his presentation...he looked like a high school kid having to give his first speech in class that he didn't prepare for

his speech indicated he was not confident in himself or the message...don't know.

and i say this because this is from a guy who is a millionaire off of performing in front of thousands at a time...sure, the performances are rehearsed...but he knew he was going to go off...he could have rehearsed this.

contrast that with michael moore...not a big following from this forum...but you gotta admit...when he says something, he does it with balls and his voice doesn't quiver...even though maybe it should

It amazes me how folks keep getting sucked into threads that just create arguments. We ain’t gonna change anyone’s opinion by posting about it so why bother? Isn’t there something more interesting or positive we could talk about rather than wasting time and effort preaching to the choir or just picking fights?

I cetainly hope so! The effort to restore the Gulf Coast is going as smoothly as humanly possible!

Lots of good people have stepped up and donated time and money to try and straighten this situation out! It will be rebuilt and for the better!
