To celebrate my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary, I am arranging a nice evening out in Atlantic City. Some close friends are joining us so now I have more pressure to set up a nice evening.

I made arrangements with my in-laws to have them watch our children. I have the hotel booked at Bally's.

And I have zero'd in on three restuarants: Red Square - vodka bar; Cuba Libre - rum bar; and Palms - steak house.

I believe the Palms is the only smoke free place, but I heard the steaks are incredible, so it's still in the running.

Curious what you have to say. Your reviews, comments, and wise cracks are welcome. But please, let's leave politics out. And no, I am not a commie or commie supporter.

Located in the rotunda right outside Cuba Libra is a cigar shop. Like most casino shops a tad overpriced but carries a decent selection. I usually bring my own and find a nice bench outside the bars and enjoy a smoke before hitting the poker tables at The Trop.

There are some decent new restaurants there too.

Have fun, I wish I was going
