Tell you one thing, I was not planning on watching the game, just the first quarter or so, but the preliminaries caused me to be glued to the tube! Great game, and Phillie needs to get over trying to get the ball to the publicity hound (Terrell Owens, crybaby) and spread it around more.......threw 17 passes at him, and he was covered pretty well by the corner back that blanketed his loud mouth!

This may be Atlanta's year, they got all the parts running right!

Also, I like Warren Dunn, a class act, and a good ball player!

That would be Warrick Dunn.

And the corner that was tasked with covering TO was DeAngelo Hall. He's a bit small but his speed makes up for a lot of his cover deficiencies.

Don't get all excited just yet R-6. One game does not a superbowl make.

Besides... if they wind up making it and have to play the Patriots, you know Belichik will have a defensive scheme to control Vick.

One thing that did shock me about the game was the one perfect pass he threw, right between two defenders into the breadbasket of the receiver who was tackled on the one yard line. That was very unlike the Vick of last year. If he can put more passes like that together, with his running ability... they very well could make a run at the SB. My thoughts at the moment are that they don't have the receivers to do it.

the O in Atlanta is not conducive to the style of Vick. Put him somewhere like St Louis and he becomes a stud.

Atlanta in the SB LMPWAO.

I thought I had the wrong channel and was watching the WWF. Classic example of how far the NFL has fallen. Thank God Favre didn't retire and is still here to raise the league average character level. For a moment, I thought it was a Ravens game.

Please, how did Favre make it into this conversation? Wasn't he addicted to painkillers? Mcnabb has every bit the class.

Big game, the boys were fired up. I would venture to say the no-name Kevin Mathis threw the best blocks for Dunn when he goaded Trotter into getting kicked out. I'm sure his teammates were congratulating him afterwards.

I'll take the medicine of my Iggles loss though, hopefully it won't cost them home field because those dirty birds are tough in ATL.

Class is important, as far as I am concerned, McNabb has lots of it, and Terrell Owens has none!

My team KC Chiefs have lots of classy players, Trent Green, Priest Holmes, Dante Hall,Will Shields....whoops and we have the woman beater Larry Johnson as well for variety at the box office! LOL

The pre game festivities of Monday nite were a lot like the introductions at a WWE Pay per view event! Lots of bluster and "fighting" going on!

I think you would be hard pressed to find any football (let alone any professional team period) team that had every member that was had class. Even as an Eagles fan I would say the Pats might be the closest to it.

I agree, they all have their problem children who want to take advantage of the fact that they are Pro football players....beat women, rape them, be overbearing loudmouth jerks, etc.....true the Patriots come to mind as having a damn good group of people!

And left it at home this week. Vick won't see much success the next match up with the Eagles.
